Thanks

 Thank You

I have now done three sessions in my new tank and everything is working great.

I wanted to thank everyone here who help me along my adventure of build my own tank!

I first wanted to thank Crash at Floatlabs  - where I did my first float ever.

I want to thank Lee at Samadhi  for the  inspiration and support.

And finally I  want to thank David at Oasis  for helping me with supplies and the plumbing system.

Thank you and all the other that helped me make this a reality!

And a special hats off to

Mr. "Happy to Spend Your Money" Guy

Who even looks at this Blog?

Well this is interesting.
I see the US has no interest in my project.

Only people in Russia seem to have any class.

Temp Check

An odd aspect to the float tank is the temperature the room needs to be held at
- they say around 86 degrees.
This is so when you get out of the 94 degree water your body doesn't go into Thermal Shock.
Well I may just have to get use to Trailer Thermal Shock
My small heater was able to keep the trailer right around 70 degree last night,
with the low was just under 20.

After the tank goes in I think I'll be able to do a little better,
but not counting on a whole lot.

After this project is finished I'll start building something
to pull it with.
I'm thinking along these lines:

Flotation Tank Design Document

On of the most difficult parts of this project is that there is so little information written regarding the construction process.  The most detailed plans I have found were from 1975, The Deep Self.

Here I am going to start an area for my plans and thing to consider while build my tank.

Water Heating
Water Filtration
Cleaning & Maintenance

Remembering all the inspirational ones out there.

The Dogs at Samadhi

Down here in Cal for a few days and got a tank session in.
Here are the dogs hanging out at the Samadhi Tanks in Nevada City, CA

After getting another tank session in, I can't get over how amazing they are.
I'll have the motivation to keep the project going at home.

Thanks Mom & Dad

My parents are so happy that I started this project that they bought me a much needed new tool box.

p.s. - you each owe me $20

I had to do a Lowe's run and grabbed some garbage bags, masks (for insulation), and a plastic cover for the top - total cost $30.
