So after years of looking at this chute from Snowbird I decided to give it a run. I went up and took this shoot two days before.
Getting an early start, to avoid any sun on the above face, I headed up. A guy on the internet said it took them a little over an hour - this was my mistake. It took me an hour and 45 to get to the top, old guy problem.
The views from the saddle were amazing.
A view looking back towards SLC.
A view of the Pfeifferhorn peak.
Looking up towards Grizzly Gulch and Alta - the end of LLC.
This could be the best photo I have ever taken.
With the temps on the rise because of my old ass it was time to get going. The snow in the chute was amazing! The choke was a little rugged due to rocks at the bottom. The big scare of the day was hitting a few big rocks on the apron.

Thanks
Thank You
I have now done three sessions in my new tank and everything is working great.
I wanted to thank everyone here who help me along my adventure of build my own tank!
I first wanted to thank Crash at Floatlabs - where I did my first float ever.
I want to thank Lee at Samadhi for the inspiration and support.
And finally I want to thank David at Oasis for helping me with supplies and the plumbing system.
Thank you and all the other that helped me make this a reality!

In Goes the Salt
It a little anti climatic but this is what $1000 worth of salt looks like.
It took over 6 hours to dissolve the salt.
I did this in four sessions due to the size of the hot water heater.
This is 5 bags (50 lbs each) - it took 21 bags or 1050 pounds of salt to
reach the correct gravity (1.27).
With all the salt dissolved now I just have to wait for it to reach the correct temperature 93.5.
It's starting the night off at 89.2.
Soon!
